Wow! What a turnout for the books last Sunday , 557 competitors not including a large influx of spectators. This is certainly a turn around for WUMA and the British Competitions.
Two teams from Scotland and in the Masters Rodriguez Espinosa Jose Manuel of Spain took a credable 1st place, the Welsh were there in force yet again winning hoards of WUMA Trophies. Perhaps this is the credit crunch mending throughout the land. This has got us to sit back and re-think how we run each event. There will be some new changes for the better with a quicker start. New score boards, Category numbers set to each matt so competitors know what Matt and when they will be on. Even better quality trophies and awards. Bigger prizemoney. Improvement with the Referee structure.

Richard Hopkins opened Cirencester Kickboxing club
in 1984, In 1986 on Bruce Lee’s Birthday Nov 27th Terry and Tim
signed up. In 1991 Terry & Tim took over the club until the present day.
So on Bruce Lee’s Birthday 2011Richard awarded The WUMA Gold 25 year
Ring for true & Loyal Dedication. “True Loyalty is hard to find”
